We are partnered with a leading international building contractor that has established an excellent reputation for delivering complex construction projects across Mission Critical, Life Sciences, Commercial and Advanced Technology sectors throughout Europe.

With a strong pipeline of secured projects and continued growth across the German market, the business is looking to appoint an experienced M&E Project Manager to support the delivery of a major hyperscale data centre in Frankfurt.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced M&E Project Manager to join one of Europe's leading contractors within the mission critical sector.

Reporting to the Project Director, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of all mechanical and electrical packages, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Working alongside CSA, Commercial and Commissioning teams, you will play a key role in coordinating the delivery of technically complex building services installations through to commissioning and client handover.

The Projects

The successful candidate will initially be based on a major hyperscale data centre project in Frankfurt.

Following successful delivery, there will be opportunities to progress onto further mission critical developments across Germany and mainland Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of all mechanical and electrical packages throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Manage M&E subcontractors, consultants and specialist suppliers.
• Coordinate closely with CSA, design, commissioning and commercial teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Monitor programme performance and ensure key project milestones are achieved.
• Manage technical queries, design coordination and installation issues.
• Ensure all M&E works comply with project specifications, quality standards and contractual requirements.
• Support procurement, package management and commercial reporting.
• Drive health, safety and environmental compliance across all M&E activities.
• Chair coordination meetings and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders.
• Oversee testing, commissioning and final handover of all MEP systems.
• Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Provide regular progress reporting to senior project leadership.
• Required Experience & Background
• Proven experience as an M&E Project Manager, Mechanical Project Manager, Electrical Project Manager or Building Services Project Manager.
• Strong experience delivering large-scale construction projects within Data Centres, Mission Critical, Life Sciences, Commercial or Industrial sectors.
• Excellent understanding of mechanical and electrical building services systems.
• Experience managing specialist M&E subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong commercial awareness and package management experience.
• Demonstrable track record of delivering projects safely, on programme and within budget.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Preferred Qualifications & Skills
• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or Construction Management.
• Professional membership with CIBSE, IET, CIOB or an equivalent institution is advantageous.
• Previous experience delivering projects within Germany or mainland Europe is desirable.
• Knowledge of commissioning processes and mission critical environments would be highly beneficial.
• Strong leadership, planning and problem-solving capabilities.
