For our Life/Health Europe, Latin America & MENA unit, we are seeking a Paralegal / Contract Specialist (d/f/m) for the MENA region to join our team in Cologne on a permanent basis, starting immediately.

Your role

• Drafting Reinsurance Contracts: You will draft and edit reinsurance contracts and other relevant documents for our clients in the MENA region, ensuring compliance with all legal regulations and standards.
• Legal Support: You will analyze contract terms that deviate from our standards for possible acceptance and assist the team with other legal matters.
• International Collaboration: You will communicate and work closely with our offices in Dubai and Paris to ensure smooth and efficient cooperation.
• Document Management: You will organize and manage our contract documents to ensure structured and accessible documentation.
• Knowledge Database: You will use our internal knowledge database to independently inform yourself about our reinsurance policies and standards and keep your knowledge continuously up to date.

Your Profile

• You have successfully completed training as a paralegal or a degree with a legal focus.
• Ideally, you already have some initial work experience with a primary and/or reinsurer in the life sector.
• Experience in drafting and structuring contracts or contract terms is an additional plus.
• You are highly proficient in using MS Office, particularly Word and Excel, as well as MS Outlook.
• You have excellent command of English and fluent French language skills.
• You bring intercultural skills for the MENA region or are interested in acquiring them.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail complete your profile.
