Qualifications & experience
- Several years of management experience in an industrial production environment, ideally with (continuous) shift operation
- Preferably a degree in a technical or business-related subject, e.g. engineering, business administration, production engineering or similar
- Business management skills with proven experience in managing costs and production metrics
- A strong understanding of industrial processes and machinery, health and safety and operational procedures
- Experience and a proven track record in continuous improvement processes and Lean Methods are essential
- A structured, solution-oriented and pragmatic work approach
- Strong communication skills, a good sense of responsibility and a collaborative management style
- Excellent German and good English skills
Key responsibilities
As Plant Manager, you will be responsible for our 24/7 production site in Weiden: for people, equipment and results. Together with your team, you will ensure safe and efficient processes and compliance with quality and regulatory standards. You will drive continuous improvement in close collaboration with local and international colleagues.
- Management of day-to-day operations at the new Weiden production site
- Leading and developing a cross-departmental team (Production, Maintenance and Logistics)
- Further development of processes in line with Lean Management and continuous improvement
- Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and acting as point of contact for public authorities
- Monitoring of relevant KPIs, as well as budget and cost control
- Promoting an open, respectful and responsible leadership culture
