The Systems Engineer will collaborate with Administrators, Engineers, and Architects to develop a coalition environment for our U.S. Army Europe-Africa (USAREUR-AF) customer. The primary responsibility is performing SharePoint Engineering and Administration functions. Additionally, the Systems Engineer will maintain system security, establish practices and procedures, monitor usage statistics and logs, develop baseline configurations, and troubleshoot system-related issues. The role requires staying current with operating systems, software analysis, and technological developments. The engineer will also provide expertise in developing or modifying software programs and applications to enhance operating systems.
How a Senior Systems Engineer Will Make an Impact
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to less experienced engineers.
- Create clear and effective documentation (EIPs, Build Guides, TTPs, etc.).
- Be detail-oriented and organized, with an understanding of information systems to ensure accuracy.
- Perform SharePoint Engineering and Administration functions.
- Maintain system security, establish practices and procedures, monitor logs, develop baseline configurations, and troubleshoot issues.
- Analyze operating systems/software and stay updated on technological developments.
- Offer expertise in software development or modification to improve operating systems.
What Youâll Need to Succeed
- Education: Bachelorâs Degree; experience may substitute for degree.
- Required Experience: 8+ years in Systems Engineering.
- Technical Skills: Microsoft SharePoint Administration (3+ years), proficiency in SQL Server, DoD systems hardening (STIG, ACAS), Windows OS, virtualized environments, server backups, PowerShell scripting.
- Security Clearance: Secret Level Security Clearance.
- Additional Requirements: Meet German TESA requirements, possess DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification on Day 1, and obtain ITIL Foundation certification within 90 days of hire.

Salary Range: $105,622 – $138,000, based on experience, location, and contractual factors. International assignments may include additional allowances and benefits. For more information, see our benefits and total rewards program.
