The Swiss Platform for Sustainable Cocoa (SWISSCO) and the Swiss Sustainable Coffee Platform (SSCP) are two multi-stakeholder platforms which foster collaboration to increase sustainability for the key commodities cocoa and coffee for Switzerland and their respective value chains, together with private sector stakeholders, non-governmental organizations, and research institutes, supported by the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO). The respective members of the platforms actively engage to improve the living conditions of smallholder farmers, to protect natural resources, and promote biodiversity in cocoa-producing countries. SWISSCO has been established in 2017, whereas SSCP was launched in 2024.
