The Inside Sales Representative for Sea, Air and Road Freight Responsibilities
Lead Generation – Identify and qualify potential customers through cold calling, email campaigns, online research, and maintain a pipeline of leads. Customer Engagement – Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing customers, conduct virtual meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations. Sales Conversion – Convert leads into sales, negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts, and achieve sales targets. Market Analysis – Stay informed about industry trends, provide insights to the sales team and management, identify opportunities for new business. Customer Service – Address inquiries, resolve issues, provide timely updates, serve as point of contact throughout sales process. Collaboration – Work closely with operations and logistics, collaborate with marketing and other departments, participate in meetings. Reporting and Documentation – Prepare sales reports and forecasts, maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Healthcare Activities – Act as a contact of competence for healthcare customers, ensure transport operations meet WHO TRS 957 and EU GDP Guidelines. Qualifications
Minimum five years of freight forwarding experience with extensive knowledge in Air and Ocean Freight Operations; Road Freight Operations is an asset. GDP experience very desirable. Self-motivated and able to work autonomously. Commitment to identifying and implementing efficient, cost-effective solutions. Customer focused and commercially astute with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills, prioritization, time management, accuracy. Excellent communication skills in German and English; French is a plus. Ability to think creatively, solve problems, remain calm under pressure. Working time (%)
