With the headquarters in Hamburg and offices in Singapore, Houston, and Rotterdam, their close collaboration and global outreach servicing markets across the continents have developed an international mindset and open culture. For our office in Hamburg, we are looking for a Broker Marine Insurance (m/f/d).
Your Tasks:
- Support and consulting of customers in the shipping sector
- Observation and analysis of the insurance market and selection of insurance partners
- Development of insurance packages and coverage concepts with a focus on ship insurance
- Preparation of statistics and presentations in PowerPoint and Excel
- Creation and control of documents and billings
- Collaboration in the preparation of market comparisons
Your Profile
- Successfully completed studies (business administration, economics, maritime sector) or completed apprenticeship as a shipping agent or transport insurance agent with initial work experience in the maritime industry
- Experience in the marine insurance or shipping industry is an advantage
- Affinity and accuracy in dealing with numbers in daily business
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- High customer- and service orientation
- Team player with an independent way of working
- Preferably German speaker, fluent in spoken and written English (C1)
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel)
