doctoral researcher positions in colorectal cancer research

The positions are integrated into the structured education program of the Integrated Research Training Group (IRTG) and provide ample networking opportunities amongst the doctoral candidates as well as with the more established researchers in the TRR 417. The IRTG sets out to educate tomorrow\’s specialists in academic research, clinical practice and pharmaceutical industry that work towards improving the life quality and expectancy of CRC patients.

Project description

The participating laboratories cover a broad range of unique and complementing expertise. They offer a variaty of different projects ranging from the role of CAFs, vascular cells or the extracellular matrix, to soluble mediators and the microbiome to immune cells in colorectal cancer.

Requirements

• Master\’s degree in cell biology, life sciences or comparable areas.
• Strong interest in cancer research.
• High motivation, curiosity, proactivity and creativity.
• Willingness to engage in a collaborative environment.
• Proficiency in English.
