Overview
As a Senior Fullstack Engineer in Thieme’s Public Properties Engineering Team, you shape the Webshop and digital experiences that help customers discover and purchase medical and science products. You own the full development lifecycle, with a strong focus on backend and system integrations, while collaborating with product, UX, and DevOps. You’ll drive maintainable, scalable solutions in a product-oriented setup and mentor peers to raise engineering quality. This role offers impact across a mission-driven healthcare tech landscape and opportunities to influence the company’s digital transformation.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Own end-to-end development lifecycle from concept to production and continuous improvement
- Contribute across the full stack with emphasis on backend, system integrations, and eCommerce functionality
- Lead DevOps ownership, improving deployment, monitoring, reliability, and maintainability
- Collaborate with Product Manager and UX to refine requirements and deliver customer value
- Introduce pragmatic engineering practices and structure to evolving priorities and unclear requirements
- Mentor less experienced colleagues and strengthen shared engineering practices
- Contribute to a product-oriented engineering culture focused on customer needs and sustainable solutions
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 5+ years of hands-on experience building and operating full-stack applications
- Strong backend engineering skills and solid frontend understanding
- Practical experience with eCommerce platforms or solutions
- Knowledge of scalable, maintainable architecture and full development lifecycle practices
- Experience with production operations, deployment processes, observability, monitoring, testing, and continuous improvement
- Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional, product-oriented teams
- Proactive mindset, strong communication, and willingness to own technical and operational aspects
- Experience with Shopware or PHP is a welcome advantage but not required
