Frontend Developer (m/f/d) Your tasks As a member of our innovative IT team, you will work closely with project managers, backend developers, and colleagues from the frontend team to develop products and solutions in the field of Earth Observation. * Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to implement new features, from initial design and requirements through to final implementation * Develop new applications with a focus on Earth Observation in the areas of Civil Security, Governmental Services, and Earth Science * Maintain and continuously improve existing applications by implementing new features, optimizing functionality, and enhancing the overall user experience Your skills & experience You are passionate about innovative methods and IT technologies and enjoy developing solutions to address the major environmental challenges of our time. * Completed degree in a STEM field (Bachelor's or Master's) or equivalent professional experience in software development * Solid experience in frontend development, with solid skills in HTML, CSS and TypeScript and experience with web frameworks such as Vue.Js, React, Angular or similar technologies * Ability to understand user needs and translate them into features from design to implementation, with a self-driven and hands-on approach * Experience with UI/UX design and design tools such as Figma is preferred * Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Docker, with an understanding of modern development and deployment workflows * Familiarity with GIS technologies, geospatial data, and interactive web mapping tools (OpenLayers or Leaflet) is a plus * Interest in AI-assisted software development tools such as Claude Code Our offer * Employment in one of Europes leading companies for satellite-based environmental monitoring * A motivated and highly qualified team, making a big difference together * Full-time employment with flexible working hours and tele-work * An appropriate salary that is substantially above the collective agreement with an attractive incentive program.
