German Advanced Technologies (www.gatglobal.net) is a start-up that specialises in innovative and disruptive technologies in various industries. The current focus is particularly on road and surface construction specifically addressing soil stabilisation with HYPERSOIL, an innovative, disruptive and proprietary additive.
Role Description
The ideal candidate is a motivated, organised, and creative individual who welcomes the challenges of acquiring and developing new business through sales efforts. You will build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and close business deals while maintaining an extensive knowledge of current market conditions. It would be helpful to have an Engineering background, ideally a Civil Engineering background. Your main expertise must lie in Technical Sales and Business Development, ideally in the Construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the company's market reach
- Lead business development initiatives to drive sales growth
- Focus is purely on new business and in-network connections within the EPC, GC and Construction Material Distribution industry
- Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to capitalise on them
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between business development efforts and company goals
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field
- Fluent in German
- Strong understanding of strategic planning and market analysis
- Mandatory experience and network in Construction Material Distribution
- Excellent network in either of the following industries: (Road) Construction, Agriculture, Oil & Gas, Logistics, Defense, Commercial or Industrial Real Estate, Mining, Solar & Wind Farms, Distribution
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- A background or technical sales or engineering is nice to have
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams
