Primary School Office - Geneva English SchoolThis is a permanent, full-time position starting in AugustTASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Being the first point of contact for parents, staff and visitors at the Primary campus- Overseeing student attendance and daily logistical arrangements- Sending clear, and timely parent communications regarding the scheduling of termly extra-curricular activities for the Primary school, in coordination with the Head of Primary and Director of Sport- Using the online “Parent Portal” to manage forms, set up activity bookings and parent-teacher meetings, and uploading relevant information to the school website- Preparing and maintaining student files- Making arrangements for school trips and visits- Keeping records for billing of ancillary school services- Supporting the School Nurse with First Aid duties as required- Contributing to the continued development of working practices of the school officeREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:The successful candidate will be:- Confident and flexible when liaising with our community: children, parents, staff and external visiting professionals- Fluent in spoken and written English and French, with strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills- Able to multitask and solve problems, with excellent organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, a cool head and a sense of humour- Able to use office equipment and IT software.
