Tasks

The scope of tasks at getML is very diverse and will depend on our clients\‘ and internal challenges. We rely on you to support us in specific areas with a high degree of autonomy from the very beginning:

• Client Engagement and Advisory : Collaborate closely with clients to understand their data-driven challenges, providing strategic guidance while also recommending and implementing practical MLOps solutions that drive measurable results.
• Lifecycle Management : Lead and participate in the entire project lifecycle, from business development and pre-sales to implementation, ensuring successful delivery of data, AI, and analytics solutions.
• Solution Development : Work alongside data scientists, data engineers, and IT architects to design and implement impactful machine learning applications and data-driven use cases tailored to client needs.
• Thought Leadership and Business Development : Contribute to the creation of white papers, participate in industry conferences, and support client engagements to position getML as a leader in the data science and AI space.
• Technical Support and Training : Provide technical support for getML, assist in the development of the getML Python API, and deliver training on relational learning to clients.

Requirements

Here are some qualifications that would help you succeed in this role:

• 3+ years of experience in data science and software engineering, ideally within a consultancy or IT industry setting.
• Strong background in mathematics, physics, or a related field, with a solid understanding of statistics and machine learning concepts.
• Proficiency in Python and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and containerization.
• Familiarity with data visualization frameworks (e.g., DataStudio, Tableau).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Ability to communicate effectively in both German (C1) and English (B2).
• Flexibility and willingness to travel for client engagements and business development.

Compensation: We want to offer compensation that aligns with industry standards. To maintain a transparent and fair approach to compensation, the salary ranges for all positions are determined based on market benchmarks and a comprehensive leveling framework.

For this role, Leipzig based salary ranges from 48.000€ to 80.000€ p.a. + stock options , depending on the leveling we’ll establish with you throughout the hiring process.
