We seek an experienced growth marketing leader to scale our marketplace\’s emerging customer channels from 10 to 100.
The role is foundational to our Growth organization as we aim to move away from channel-siloed thinking. It includes expanding the team working on marketplace-wide problems (e.g., marketplace liquidity, new vs. repeat customer growth) and collaborating closely with teams across the company, including product and supply.
The role involves leading the SEO (or Affiliate) and Display channels, overseeing a total of 45 direct reports. We can adjust team composition based on your operational expertise with these channels.
This position anticipates expanding ownership within a timeframe based on progress made in the first 365 days.
This role is both strategic and operational, requiring you to plan 9-12 months ahead while staying actively involved in day-to-day operations. We value lean team structures and expect our leaders to be deeply engaged in the details to ensure success.
You will :
- Lead the transformation of both direct and indirect teams towards a growth generalist mindset.
- Address marketplace-wide problems (e.g., marketplace liquidity, new vs. repeat customer growth).
- Expand the team with more growth generalists.
- Own SEO and implement the programmatic roadmap to enhance rankings across hundreds of thousands of pages.
- Deliver a high-quality content roadmap in the \’Things to do\‘ topic space.
- Key KPI: traffic growth at a guardrail conversion rate.
- Lead Display channels, managing core performance media (Google GDA Demand Gen, DV360, Criteo) and paid social (Meta).
- Drive sustainable growth focusing on mid-funnel prospecting, retargeting, personalization, and operational innovation.
- Key KPI: growing net revenue at a sustainable 90-day ROAS.
Who you are
- 7+ years in growth marketing or a similar role.
- Deep understanding of growth loops, models, and funnels.
- Hands-on experience with Display and SEO (or Affiliate) channels.
- Self-sufficient: ability to execute experiments in a fast-paced, adaptive manner.
