h3Job Description Summary /h3 pBecome part of GE Vernova /p pDo you want to make a global impact and solve problems? /p pThrough an unbridled spirit of innovation and continuous collaboration with our customers, Gas Power, a business unit of GE Vernova, is driving a more advanced, cleaner, and more efficient energy supply for humanity-while simultaneously developing technologies for the energy generation of the future. /p pWhat you can make happen /p pAs a member of the Lean Team at the GE Vernova production site in Birr, you will be responsible for driving the continuous improvement and Lean activities for the factory, in partnership with the Production Managers and their teams, leading production process simplification and transformation projects and initiatives /p h3Job Description /h3 pbYour responsibilities /b /p ul liConsistent application of Lean strategies, tools and principles to drive continuous improvement in the Birr Factory /li liPartner with the Production Managers and their teams to define the key value streams that will have the greatest impact on the business and the customer /li liServe as a change agent by influencing, communicating and institutionalizing a culture of simplification and standardization /li liDrive local employee input continuous improvement program and it KPI Reporting /li liInspire during the Execution of Kaizen Events and Lean AWO`s to observe, understand and evaluate improvement areas in the production processes /li liEstablish appropriate operating rhythms with key stake holders to communicate progress, provide coaching for Kaizen action workouts /li liChampion lean deployment to drive production process lead-time and cash / cost improvements /li liUse VSM (Value Stream Map) to analyze, get focus and set priorities /li liCoaching and transfer knowledge to employees /li liCoordination and implementation of training measures of lean tools for manufacturing and administration areas /li /ul pbQualifications/Requirements /b /p ul liSolid experience in Lean or similar operational role /li liBachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline /li liExcellent communication skills in English and German /li liKnowledge and practical application of Lean deployment Tools /li liExperience on conducting Kaizen Events and Lean work outs /li /ul pbDesired characteristics /b /p ul liTeam player, creating a culture of collaboration positive and encouraging attitude, share ideas, able to effectively interface to multiple audiences /li liDecision-making/problem solving skills: Think abstractly about problems, transfer knowledge between situations, creative and innovative solutions /li liSelf-management skills: Efficient work habits, self-starting, well developed ethics and sense of loyalty /li li\"Can do\" attitude and Solution Oriented mindset /li /ul pbWhat we offer /b /p pEmployees at GE Vernova rise to the challenge of helping to create a world that thrives.
