Through process and cost optimization, you will maintain the organization's competitiveness and drive results for our customers. /p h3Job Description /h3 pbWhat you’ll do /b /p ul liCreate and maintain manufacturing Bill of Materials (mBOM) within the PLM system and ensure seamless integration with the ERP system /li liDefine and maintain detailed routing steps, work instructions, and production cycle times for complex gas turbine components /li liPerform cost comparisons and support annual standard price updates /li liCoordinate the implementation of PLM part definition changes /li liManage and maintain master data for tooling, fixtures, and consumables within the ERP system to ensure production readiness /li liDrive strategic initiatives to optimize overall production performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) /li liShare knowledge and support the onboarding of junior team members /li liServe as the primary interface between Design Engineering, Procurement, and Shop Floor Operations to resolve technical bottlenecks and ensure schedule adherence /li /ul pbWhat you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications) /b /p ul liCompleted technical vocational training (Swiss EFZ or equivalent), ideally as a Polymechanic or Design Engineer or relevant or similar experience /li liFurther education in a technical or management field (e.g., HF Technician, Process Specialist, or a B.Sc. in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent knowledge and experience /li liProven experience working with PLM systems (ideally Teamcenter or Enovia) /li liHands‑on experience with ERP systems (ideally SAP) /li liExperience in a manufacturing, operations, or Hot Gas Path (HGP) engineering environment /li liStrong ability to interpret complex technical drawings, specifications, and quality documentation /li liWorking knowledge of Lean/Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies /li liProficiency in German and English skills /li /ul pbWhat will make you stand out? /b /p ul liCollaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills /li liIndependent, performance-oriented, and reliable approach to work /li liCost-conscious and entrepreneurial mindset /li liInnovative mindset with a focus on problem-solving /li liCustomer-focused with a drive for quality /li liStrong sense of accountability and ownership /li /ul pbWhat we offer /b /p pEmployees at GE Vernova rise to the challenge of helping to create a world that thrives.
