Engineer, Advanced Product Development (F/M/X)

Poste GH interim Sàrl is a company created and managed by two partners experienced in the field of human resources for many years. The GH interim teams are made up of passionate people, available to listen to you in French, German, English, Dutch, Luxembourgish, etc. and having several years of experience in HR in Luxembourg. To be able to best serve its clients, GH interim has opened two agencies in Luxembourg (Wiltz and Luxembourg). GH interim works with candidates from Germany, Belgium, France and of course Luxembourg.

We are looking for:

Engineer, Advanced Product Development (F/M/X) for a company based in Grevenmacher.

Role:

1. Lead Advanced Product Development projects from concept to SOP, using a corporate development process, to be realized through internal and/or external partners.
2. Follow product roadmaps from our Product Managers and direction from the Product Owner as basis for self-sufficient planning of development activities to reach development milestones in time and within budget.
3. Coordinate, build and analyze prototypes, samples and concepts in close cooperation with our labs and production lines.
4. Provide design, prototype & validation support for improving existing products.
5. Serve as a backup or relay companion to other APD engineers from different regions.

Permanent Position

Profile:

1. Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, physics, optics or related field or equivalent experience required.
2. 2+ years’ experience in relevant role with career progression.
3. Automotive experience would be a plus as well as the knowledge in materials such as glass, coatings and plastics.
4. Business fluent English is mandatory, German language skills are a plus.
5. Product design experience including GD&T and DFMEA.
