Date: September 2026 About the Opportunity Our client, an international company operating in the biopharmaceutical sector, is currently looking for an experienced QA Logistics & Materials Specialist to join its Quality organization in Visp.
In this role, you will act as a key quality representative supporting material management, incoming material verification, raw material qualification, and supply chain quality activities within a highly regulated GMP environment.
You will work closely with Quality, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams to ensure compliance, continuity of supply, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities Perform incoming material verification in accordance with GMP requirements and internal procedures.
Support the qualification, approval, and release of raw materials used in manufacturing operations.
Maintain and manage material-related data and documentation within quality systems.
Ensure supplier-related information and material records remain accurate and up to date.
Coordinate and manage supplier notifications, quality alerts, and material-related changes.
Support investigations related to deviations, non-conformances, CAPAs, and change controls.
Monitor and report KPIs linked to material qualification and release activities.
Ensure timely escalation of critical quality issues impacting materials, logistics, and supply chain operations.
Collaborate with Supply Chain, Warehouse, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Quality teams to maintain GMP compliance and operational efficiency.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at strengthening quality and logistics processes.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
Minimum 3 years of proven experience in QA Logistics, Material Quality, Raw Material Quality, or Supply Chain Quality within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences environment.
Strong knowledge of GMP regulations and pharmaceutical quality systems.
Hands-on experience managing deviations, CAPAs, investigations, and change controls.
Solid understanding of raw material qualification, incoming inspection, material release, and supplier quality processes.
Experience working with SAP, SAP QM, SAP MM, LIMS, or equivalent systems.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent English is required.
German is an advantage.
