Job Description:
The Spare Parts Manager defines and manages from a technical and commercial perspective the to be offered spare parts of G+D developed or branded products and spare part packages over the lifecycle of the spare part. He/she contributes via the Service Product Management to the PEP (Produkt-Entstehungs-Prozess) and the PLM (Product Lifecycle Mgt) by providing all spare part related aspects from product development through launch until end of support, proactively. With this, he/she ensures a synchronization of parts selling strategy with service and product strategy
Your role:
- Responsibility for e2e spare part management over the entire product life cycle incl. offering guideline, workflow and process governance
- Conducts initial and continuous update of spare parts pricing and definition
- Supports further development and implementation of a comprehensive pricing strategy for spare parts
- Evaluates existing spare parts pricing & offering methodologies and processes and provides recommendations for improvements for on-demand business and spare parts within service contracts
- Allocation of critical spare parts based on business requirements
- Supports internal departments in spare parts pricing and offering matters
- Defines and maintains a comprehensive catalogue of spare parts
- Generates regular reports and provides analysis highlighting trends, opportunities, and challenges, and recommend actionable steps
- Steers the global spare parts management network
Requirements:
- University degree (e.g. bachelor, master degree, MBA, etc.) in engineering, science or business
- > 3 years experience in pricing and Product business development know how
- > 3 years experience working in international matrix organizations and collaboration with subsidiaries
- Broad and deep skillset in related service areas
- Knowledge of CTCS controlling methods including product hierarchy
- Deep knowledge in data analytics, KPI definition and performance management
- Profound knowledge in profitability calculations
- High level of intercultural competencies and teamwork
- Strong coordination, communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Professional in English and German
- Independent and structured working manners
- Possibility in national/ Internal travels
