- Your Responsibilities
- Assume overall responsibility for the Human Resources function across Germany and Austria, providing strategic and operational leadership while overseeing, developing, and coaching the local HR team.
- Develop and implement sustainable recruitment strategies, oversee the hiring of key positions and building a strong talent pipeline
- Oversee payroll operations, manage benefits administration, including health benefits, company cars and pension plans), and ensure compliance with local tax and social security regulations.
- Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition and onboarding to performance management, development, retention and offboarding.
- Act as a strategic business partner to the Executive Management Team and a trusted advisor to managers on all people-related matters
- Develop and implement the local HR strategy in close collaboration with our Headquarters in Milan, ensuring alignment with the Group's global HR strategy
- Foster a constructive and collaborative relationship with the Works Council, ensuring effective employee representation and social partnership
- Lead the annual performance and salary review processes while providing recommendations to Headquarters regarding compensation decisions and talent retention initiatives
- Lead employee relations, including employment law matters, conflict resolution and collaboration with the Works Council and external stakeholders
- Drive organizational development and change management initiatives, supporting the implementation of new organizational structures and international HR programs
- Implement and manage HRIS platforms, oversee HR data analytics and reporting, and provide HR metrics to support business decision-making.
- Partner with the Commercial Director, the COO and the international HR team to implement a forward-looking People Strategy
Your Profile
- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a comparable qualification
- Several years of leadership experience in Human Resources, ideally within an international retail, fashion or luxury environment
- Proven expertise in talent acquisition, talent management, performance management, employee relations and organizational development
- Sound knowledge of German employment law; knowledge of Austrian employment law is considered an advantage
- Strong experience in payroll, Compensation & Benefits and HR compliance
- Proven experience leading complex HR projects and organizational change initiatives within an international environment
- Excellent leadership, communication and consulting skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all organizational levels
- High level of resilience, strategic thinking and the ability to successfully manage multiple complex priorities in a dynamic business environment
- Entrepreneurial mindset combined with a hands-on approach and a structured, solution-oriented way of working
- Proficient in HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Business fluent German and English are essential; Italian is considered an advantage
