Overview
In this role, you will support indirect materials sourcing for one or more sites, aligning with global and regional strategies to optimize costs. You work closely with site stakeholders and the procurement team to drive savings, manage supplier relationships, and ensure compliant contracting. You’ll navigate global processes, apply category strategies locally, and leverage AI-enabled tools to improve procurement decisions. This is a chance to impact cost, quality, and efficiency in a globally distributed organization.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Advise sites on evaluating and pricing alternate materials
- Identify local cost savings and cost avoidance aligned with targets
- Support TCO and packaging cost reduction initiatives
- Roll out global/regional strategies at site level (RFx, pricing, supplier inventory, etc.)
- Provide sourcing support to local stakeholders and coordinate with GBS
- Select vendors per criteria and consolidate preferred supplier base
- Negotiate quotes, terms, and resolve invoice discrepancies
- Implement global/ regional/local agreements and manage budgets
- Review purchase requisitions/orders and monitor vendor performance
- Maintain catalogs and implement new ones
- Support daily sourcing and contracting matters and act as escalation point
- Create/update SAP information and ensure process adoption
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 3-5 years of procurement experience in an international environment
- Fluent in English and German
- Solid understanding of procurement processes and SAP
- Knowledge of packaging commodities (preferred)
