Role Description
We are looking for an experienced Android Automotive HMI Lead Engineer / Software Architect – Automotive for an urgent project in Germany.
Location: Cologne, Germany
Contract: Freelance Contract
Experience: 10+ years
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Lead development and integration of Android Automotive HMI / IVI solutions
- Develop and integrate high-quality Android UI/HMI solutions for vehicle programs
- Collaborate with global engineering teams, architects, designers, and product owners
- Act as a bilingual, customer-facing technical engineer
- Analyze and troubleshoot software integration and build issues
- Perform root cause analysis and critical bug fixing
- Reproduce vehicle/bench issues and provide detailed technical findings
- Coordinate with offshore development teams and provide technical/project updates
- Identify risks, dependencies, and resolution plans
- Automotive Infotainment
- Software Integration & Troubleshooting
- Root Cause Analysis & Debugging
- Customer-facing technical communication
- Android Framework exposure is a plus
