Lead Global Engineering (m/f/d)
Introduction
As Lead Global Engineering, you will lead an international team of 16 technical specialists across three countries, covering disciplines such as mechanical, software, and electrical engineering.
Together with your team, you ensure the successful technical execution of global marine and offshore lighting projects by adapting, configuring, and engineering solutions to meet specific customer requirements.
This role combines people leadership, technical coordination, and continuous improvement in an international environment. As part of our long-term succession planning, a structured onboarding and handover process will support your successful start.
What you’ll do

Lead, coach, and develop an international Global Engineering team of 16 specialists across three countries, fostering collaboration and personal growth across different technical disciplines

Take ownership of the technical execution of global customer projects – from order entry through engineering, configuration, adaptation, and final delivery of customer-specific lighting solutions

Ensure that standard products and solutions are technically adapted to meet customer requirements, project specifications, and quality standards

Structure, prioritize, and coordinate engineering activities and work packages to ensure efficient project execution

Continuously improve engineering processes, drive new solutions, and collaborate closely with Project Management, Sales Support, Manufacturing, and MOW R&D in an international environment
Who you are

You have a technical background in engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, software engineering, or a comparable field, combined with experience in a technical project or engineering environment

You have experience leading, coaching, and developing technical teams and enjoy creating an environment built on trust, collaboration, and continuous learning

You are experienced in managing complex technical topics across different disciplines and turning customer requirements into practical solutions

You have a structured and solution-oriented mindset, with strong skills in prioritization, process improvement, and driving change

You communicate openly and confidently in an international environment and enjoy working with colleagues across different cultures; fluency in German and English is required
