Capability Lead & Sales Coach (m/f/d)
This role combines office-based work with regular field travel across Austria to support training and sales coaching activities. The position is accountable for building and implementing a commercial capabilities roadmap and spending approximately 50% of the time on sales coaching. Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end Training & Capabilities agenda across Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations and cross‑functional teams, consolidating capability needs into a coherent, prioritised and impact-driven learning roadmap. Design and oversee training programmes to build future‑proof capabilities, including commercial fundamentals, execution excellence, digital and omnichannel capabilities, data and analytics, and performance management. Define capability KPIs and success metrics, ensuring training effectiveness is measured and translated into improved performance, while partnering with leaders to identify skill gaps and shape future‑ready capabilities. Coach sales representatives through regular field and virtual coaching, observing customer interactions and providing structured, strengths‑based feedback aligned to sales excellence standards. Support sales teams in translating brand strategy into customer conversations and account plans, working closely with Sales Managers and contributing to meetings, workshops and capability initiatives. Act as the Commercial Capability point of contact for Area and Global initiatives, ensuring effective stakeholder management, governance and compliance with local regulations, GSK policies and ethical standards. Basic Qualifications & Skills
Degree in Business, Management, Life Sciences or a related discipline. Solid experience in commercial operations or similar roles, including coaching sales teams, ideally within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry. Strong understanding of commercial processes, performance management and capability building. Learning agility and change leadership mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. Fluent in English and German (written and spoken); native-level German is a plus. Preferred Qualifications & Skills
Coaching certification and experience developing structured coaching programmes. Proven ability to manage complex, cross‑functional initiatives and multiple stakeholders. Strategic thinking with strong execution focus and data‑driven decision making. Strong stakeholder management, influencing and structured problem‑solving skills. Application Deadline
