Head Medical Affairs, Oncology

Location: Zug, Switzerland We are looking for a leader to drive medical excellence and impact patient lives through innovative oncology solutions.

The role is based on site in Zug, Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the medical strategy for the Oncology portfolio in Switzerland ensuring alignment with global and regional priorities.

Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing medical team, fostering scientific engagement.

Build and maintain partnerships with healthcare professionals, patient organisations and other key external stakeholders.

Collaborate cross‑functionally with Commercial, Regulatory, Market Access and other teams to support business objectives.

Ensure all medical activities comply with internal policies, industry regulations and local laws.

Provide strategic medical guidance and insights to inform decision‑making and support innovative healthcare solutions.

Qualifications University degree in a relevant scientific discipline or closely related field.

Significant experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, particularly in Oncology and within Medical Affairs, with proven expertise in strategy development, execution and product launch.

Proven leadership experience, including team management and development.

Strong collaboration and influence skills across a matrix environment.

Experience building relationships with healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.

Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks in the pharmaceutical industry.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to translate complex scientific data into actionable insights.

Fluent in English and German.

Preferred Qualifications Professional qualifications such as MD, Pharm D, Ph D.

Strong strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills.

Experience managing multiple priorities and projects effectively.

Track record of driving innovation and continuous improvement.

A genuine passion for improving patient outcomes and advancing healthcare solutions.
