Alumni Services Manager

Responsibilities:
- Be the main point of contact for the Glion Alumni Association, supporting the creation of a global ambassador network, events, communications, initiatives, and creating a joint plan of activity for the community.
- Build personal relationships with influential / active Alumni globally, proactively targeting certain Alumni to activate long-term relationships.
- Manage all aspects of the Glion Alumni platform ranging from creating a content plan, commissioning content from Alumni stories to job feeds, and ensuring Alumni service requests are managed to ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
- Support the Associations in the organization of events, focusing on communications, marketing, and promotion of ticket sales for global and regional events, ensuring pre-, during, and post-event activities are amplified across relevant channels.
- Support students & faculty who need to get in touch with Alumni (for example, supporting Networking Committee, Business Field Trips & ExM Residential weeks).
- Organize and host alumni visits & events, e.g., alumni-related activities during on-campus Recruitment Days.
- Present the AVP to Bachelor’s in their final year and to Master’s students, promoting registration to the platform.
- Help showcase alumni achievements through written stories, film, and audio, and present those stories in creative ways on social media, Alumni platforms, School website, and internally in collaboration with the Glion Brand Marketing team.
- Develop and implement an alumni communications plan (platform, socials, emails, etc.) in liaison with the AAG, including content planning and creation, community management, reporting, and Alumni news with the support of the Glion Brand Marketing team.
- Build strong B2B relationships with key Alumni in large or growing businesses that can provide internships for the schools, jobs for the graduates, and alumni.
- Manage and report on data related to Glion Employer Partner contacts and job opportunities.
- Create and build a directory for alumni to list their business/entrepreneurial and fundraising projects.
- Coordinate with teams on campus to provide career services to alumni and services on request (e.g., access to e-library resources).
Profile and Experiences:
- A Bachelor’s degree in English, hospitality business, communications, public relations, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a relevant role in the education sector or in a customer service role focused on the management of customer loyalty and engagement in an international business that is focused on delivering premium services and consumer experiences.
- Alumna/us of Glion is highly preferred.
- Demonstrate a versatile ability to communicate with the alumni community, students‘ body, faculty members, and industry partners.
- Be skilled in writing clear, concise, and grammatically correct copy.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, able to influence colleagues at all levels of a business as well as to engage with alumni.
- Organized and able to multitask on various projects at the same time.
- Flexibility in terms of work hours and locations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (spoken and written).
- Driving license is a must-have.
