- Student: A 5-year-old child who's recently relocated to Switzerland due to her father's job
- Location: Lessons are to be held at the student's home inZumikon, Zürich (8126)
- Availability:Monday to Thursday morning (8:00am – 12:00pm), Friday evening (4:00pm - 8:00pm), Saturday and Sunday afternoon (12:00pm – 8:00pm)
- Lesson Frequency and Duration: Twice per week, 60 minutes per session
- Current German level:Complete beginner
- Native and other spoken languages: English, Hindi
- Student'slanguage needs and goals:Hold conversationswith peers to integrate in the new country. Building vocabulary (esp. school-related vocabulary). How schools work in the new country, Making friends.
- Student’s interests: Story, art, music, quizzes, animals, food
- Additional Information: She uses English at school and at home
Responsibilities:
- Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
- Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
- Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
- Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner
Qualifications:
- Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in German
- Degree or certification in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field
- Minimum of two years of German (DaF) teaching experience
- Experience working with children
