System Engineer (MBSE & Requirements Engineering)

The Role: System Engineer (MBSE & Requirements Engineering)

Location: Munich Region, Germany

Work Model: Full Onsite

Languages: Native German (Mandatory) | English - Professional proficiency(Mandatory)

We are looking for a System Engineer to join a highly technical and innovative engineering environment in the Munich region. The candidate will be responsible for supporting system architecture, requirements engineering, and model-based systems engineering activities across complex projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system models, architectures, and requirements.
• Translate stakeholder and customer requirements into technical specifications.
• Support Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities and system documentation.
• Manage requirements traceability, verification, and validation processes.
• Collaborate closely with software, hardware, and systems engineering teams.
• Ensure consistency and compliance of engineering artefacts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to system design reviews and technical assessments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Systems Engineering and Requirements Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with the following engineering tools:
• Cameo
• Enterprise Architect
• Granta
• Mega
• IBM DOORS
• RPE (Rational Publishing Engine)
• RQA (nice to have)
• Strong understanding of requirements management, system architecture, and engineering processes.
• Experience working in complex engineering environments, ideally within regulated or high-tech industries.
• Native German language skills (mandatory).
• Good English communication skills.
