AI Consultant – Microsoft Copilot Studio & Azure AI Agents

Turn business needs into useful AI solutionsBuild AI agents that help business clients find trusted information, automate tasks and improve everyday work. In this hands‑on consulting role, you will take solutions from discovery to deployment, combining Microsoft Copilot Studio with Azure AI capabilities and the wider Microsoft 365 ecosystem.You will work with business stakeholders and technical teams to choose practical approaches, deliver working agents and support adoption. Strong Copilot Studio delivery experience matters more than expertise in every product: you should bring depth in the core platform and the curiosity to learn across Microsoft’s evolving AI stack.What you will doLead discovery workshops, understand processes and user needs, and translate opportunities into clear requirements, success measures and realistic delivery plans.Select low-code or pro-code architectures based on business value, complexity, security and supportability. Assess service maturity and preview limitations before recommending production use.Build and configure agents, instructions, knowledge sources, actions and Power Automate workflows. Connect enterprise systems through APIs and connectors, including SharePoint and Dataverse.Evaluate agent quality with representative test cases, including retrieval accuracy, task completion and failure handling. Implement permissions, safeguards and human approval for consequential actions.Deploy securely using managed environments, version control and repeatable release practices. Monitor reliability, usage and cost, then improve performance and operational efficiency.Support adoption through demonstrations and training. Produce clear technical and user documentation, and hand over solutions with practical support and ownership arrangements.Essential experience and skillsAt least three years in enterprise application, cloud or automation consulting, or an equivalent practical delivery track record. Proven experience delivering working AI agents and strong hands‑on Microsoft Copilot Studio skills.Practical Power Automate experience and confidence connecting agents to enterprise knowledge and data sources such as SharePoint and Dataverse.Working knowledge of APIs, JSON and authentication, plus the ability to write and debug code in Python, C# or TypeScript. Familiarity with VS Code and Git/GitHub or Azure DevOps.Ability to design prompts and instructions, ground responses in retrieved information, and test agent behaviour. An understanding of AI limitations, unreliable outputs and when human review is needed.Sound enterprise security practices, including permissions, Microsoft Entra ID and Power Platform data loss prevention (DLP). Experience with environment management, version control and controlled deployment.Clear business communication in English, with the ability to explain technical choices, manage stakeholder expectations and document solutions for both technical and non‑technical audiences.Preferred experiencePro‑code AI development with Microsoft Foundry / Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Search, including retrieval‑augmented generation and agent evaluation.Microsoft 365 Copilot extensibility; operational monitoring with Azure Monitor or Application Insights; and familiarity with Microsoft Purview where information governance requires it.Dynamics 365 integrations, regulated‑industry delivery, or experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and multi‑agent patterns.
