About the RoleThe Legal Counsel supports the UCI Legal Service in delivering legal advice and managing legal matters across the organisation. The role covers contract management, insurance, trademark protection, debt recovery, regulatory drafting and legal research, with close collaboration with other UCI departments and support to the Head of Legal and Compliance. The position is a 100% role and the start date is immediate or to be agreed.Key ResponsibilitiesManage contracts by drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, including sponsorship, media rights and licensing, and event-related contracts such as hosting agreements and service provider agreements.Manage the insurance programme, including review of event-related insurances and management of claims.Manage the UCI trademark protection programme, including the UCI logo and rainbow trademark.Manage debt recovery procedures.Draft, review and update regulations applicable to the different UCI disciplines.Manage UCI and UCI WCC commercial registry publications.Conduct legal research and draft various memos.Collaborate closely with other UCI departments, advising on the application of UCI Regulations and managing disputes involving cycling stakeholders.Support the Head of Legal and Compliance on various subjects.Required Experience QualificationsHolder of a law degree.Working experience as a legal counsel (minimum 3 years).Outstanding command of French and English, both written and spoken.Ability to synthesise and analyse.Ability to communicate and share information effectively.Organised, thorough and able to work under pressure.Ability to set priorities and comply with deadlines.Keen sense of service and confidentiality.Team spirit.Good computer skills.Interest in cycling and sport in general.Preferred SkillsWorking experience in sports administration is an asset.Holder of bar exam is an asset.WorkplaceAigle, Switzerland, at the UCI World Cycling Centre. #J-18808-Ljbffr
