Standard & Approvals Engineer

GlobalEngineer is an innovative company in several engineering fields that is active in mechanical and plant engineering, development of new systems and their technologies, as well as in testing and type testing. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an interested and motivated Electrical Engineer specialized in standards in the process industry.

Tasks

• Actively support colleagues from development in applying the requirements of the standard
• Responsible for standards and approvals for sensors, valve drives and transmitters in process automation
• Work out global approval- and conformity concepts
• Create submission documents and carry out the approval projects independently
• Drive necessary re-certifications
• Proactively build and maintain close partnerships with partners and government agencies around the world
• Collaborate with internal and external bodies and partners worldwide

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree and at least 3 years of practical experience in the development of electrical products for the process industry or similar
• Experience with Standard & Approvals, role ideally in the sensors-, measurement- or process automation industry
• Good experience with UL (cULus) and CE
• Ideally further experience with IEC 62443 or IEC 61508
• Good knowledge of English.
