For more information, visit www.gf.com.**Introduction** The Manager, Global Tax & Subsidies will report to the Director, Global Tax & Subsidies and be responsible for global tax reporting including tax accounting under IFRS and German/EMEA tax and related compliance. **Your Job*** Prepare and review interim and annual global income tax provisions under IAS 12 Income Taxes, including current and deferred taxes and effective tax rate.* Prepare and review global tax account rollforward and income taxes payable reconciliation for Germany and other EMEA jurisdictions.* Manage Germany and other EMEA tax compliance and advisory matters.* Monitor the introduction of new tax legislation and accounting pronouncements to ensure compliance and correct income tax accounting.* Engage in corporate tax planning.* Prepare forecast effective tax rate guidance for internal and external stakeholders.* Partner with GF team members including FP&A, Accounting and Financial Reporting.**Required Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Master’s degree or equivalent preferred* 8+ years of experience in taxation.* Tax experience in a public accounting firm or a combination of public accounting and public company experience preferred.* Analytical, strong business/commercial sense, team player, result-oriented with high levels of drive and initiative.* Effective workload prioritization and meeting of deadlines.* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
