Summary of Role
This position is for a Junior SPICE modeling expert who will primarily work on compact device model development, focusing on SRAM, and coordinate between the modeling and device teams.
Essential Responsibilities
- Develop SPICE models for FET devices covering SRAM, baseband, high voltage, RF for GF technologies.
- Develop SRAM models with close interaction with the Fab1 SRAM team.
- Foster strong collaboration between the modeling and device teams.
- Drive best practices in model extraction, QA/validation, and flow across model organizations.
- Work closely with fabrication engineers on device characterization, data analysis, and model hardware correlation & data acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with measurement and layout teams on modeling test chip generation to enable wafer testing across different sites/regions.
- Provide technical support on customer queries related to SPICE models and help resolve model issues promptly.
Other Responsibilities
- Perform all activities safely and responsibly, supporting Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications
- Master\’s degree in electrical engineering or physics.
- In-depth knowledge of semiconductor device physics.
- Understanding of SPICE level simulators such as HSPICE and SPECTRE.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and deliver customer requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting multiple technology nodes and products in a foundry environment.
- Project management skills, including innovation and execution capabilities.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
