Under the supervision of the Chief of the Transport Section, the Assistant Economic Affairs Officer will be responsible for the following duties:
Economic and/or sector analysis:
- Provides support for collecting, evaluating, interpreting, analysing specified statistics and qualitative socio-economic information obtained from a variety of sources and pertaining to resilient and sustainable transport and logistics systems and supply chains.
- Assists in the design, testing, operation and modification of econometric models, analytical tools and impact assessments related to transport, trade logistics and supply chains.
