Role Purpose Support UN-Water’s resource mobilization, partnerships, and strategy implementation through research, analysis, and development of high‑quality outputs.
Responsibilities
Update and enhance the UN-Water Resource Mobilization Guide and integrate latest financing trends to improve usability.
Conduct research on water financing, donor priorities, and private sector engagement; produce analytical summaries.
Draft donor briefs, concept notes, and proposals, and prepare high‑level briefing materials.
Support the implementation of the UN System‑wide Strategy and Collaborative Implementation Plan (CIP); assist in tracking Priority Collaborative Actions.
Assist with partner mapping, presentations, and meetings.

Education Requirements
Enrolled in or graduated from a university programme (Bachelor, Master, Ph.D.) within three years of application.
Preferably a degree in a water‑relevant field such as sustainable development, international affairs, economics, social sciences, public policy, public administration, public health, natural resources management, environmental management, engineering or related field.
Experience Requirements
Experience (paid or volunteer) in policy‑related services, research and report‑writing, coordination or collaboration, and partnership management.
Additional asset: knowledge of water and sanitation sectors, experience with UN system or related organisations, and knowledge of global stakeholders and external support agencies.
Language Requirements
English: Fluent (required)
French: Intermediate (desirable)
