MES Project Management, Emerson Syncade & GMP, Pharmaceutical ManufacturingFor an international Life Sciences manufacturing environment in Switzerland, we are looking for an experienced MES Project Manager for a 6-month temporary assignment.The role combines senior project management responsibilities with strong functional and technical expertise in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). You will lead complex MES and IT manufacturing initiatives, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and support the local MES organization during an important project phase.Your ResponsibilitiesLead complex MES and IT manufacturing projects from initiation and planning through implementation, deployment and handover to operationsManage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies and governanceCoordinate cross-functional teams across Manufacturing, MS&T, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain and ITAct as a key interface between local stakeholders and global/enterprise MES teamsCoordinate MES requirements, functional design, electronic recipe development, testing, deployment and operational handoverEnsure integration of MES with manufacturing equipment and enterprise systems such as SAP, LIMS, CMMS/Maximo, document management, historians and reporting platformsSupport qualification and validation activities in accordance with SDLC, GAMP, CSV, GxP and 21 CFR Part 11 requirementsCoordinate and prioritize activities within the MES team, including project work, enhancements, operational support and issue resolutionSupport business continuity, inspection readiness and the stable transition of project deliverables into operationsDrive stakeholder communication, decision-making, change management and executive-level project reportingYour ProfileBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Life Sciences or a related disciplineAround 15 years of progressive project or program management experience, including complex cross-functional projectsAround 10 years of substantial MES experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, Life Sciences manufacturing or another highly regulated industryProven experience with MES implementations, upgrades, enhancements, integrations and transition into operational support within a GMP environmentStrong functional and technical knowledge of MES platformsHands‑on experience with Emerson Syncade is strongly preferredGood understanding of MES architecture, electronic recipes, batch execution and reporting, equipment integration and interfaces to ERP, LIMS, CMMS and related systemsWorking knowledge of SDLC, GAMP, CSV, GxP, data integrity and 21 CFR Part 11Strong project leadership, stakeholder management, communication and problem‑solving skillsAbility to lead experienced technical specialists in a matrix organization and influence without direct authorityPMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum or comparable project management certification is an advantageLanguagesProfessional fluency in French and English is requiredAssignmentTemporary assignment for 6 monthsInternational pharmaceutical / Life Sciences manufacturing environmentSwitzerlandStart: by agreement #J-18808-Ljbffr
