WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

In our team you will provide technical consulting and lead software development projects, acting as a key interface between our customers in Germany and highly specialized delivery teams in Spain.

Your main tasks will be:

• Lead software development projects from a technical, organizational, and delivery perspective, coordinating stakeholders and specialized teams in Germany and Spain.
• Act as the technical interface between customers, project managers, architects, developers, QA, DevOps, and external partners.
• Translate customer and business needs into clear software requirements, architectures, work packages, priorities, and delivery milestones.
• Lead agile projects and technical coordination using Scrum and Agile methodologies to ensure efficient collaboration and successful delivery.
• Design and review scalable, maintainable, secure, and cloud-ready software architectures while ensuring high technical and engineering standards.
• Contribute hands-on to software development and technical problem-solving across full-stack, APIs, databases, deployment, testing, and integration.
• Support customer workshops, technical proposals, and tenders, ensuring high-quality delivery, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

We are looking for experts in Software Developmentwith backgroundand interest in Project Management.

Here is what we are looking for in detail:

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, software engineering, technical consulting, or a comparable technical leadership role.
• Proven experience leading software development projects and technical work packages, including scope, planning, dependencies, risks, and delivery.
• Strong expertise in technical project management, Agile/Scrum, software architecture, system integration, and API design, with the ability to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
• Hands-on understanding of modern software engineering, including full-stack development, secure coding, cybersecurity fundamentals, vulnerability management, and DevSecOps.
• Strong customer and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align customers, business stakeholders, project managers, architects, developers, and operations teams.
• Analytical mindset and strong ownership, with the ability to prioritize business value, delivery risks, technical debt, and quality while maintaining accountability and high standards.
• Excellent communication skills in German, English, and Spanish (C1 or higher), combined with a collaborative, customer-oriented mindset and the ability to represent GMV professionally across cultures and disciplines.

We will also value previous experience, and knowledge in:

• Strong software development skills with experience in PHP/CMS, Java, Python or Node.js, relational databases, Git/GitLab/GitHub, and automated testing using TDD/BDD.
• Solid DevOps and cloud experience, including Linux/Windows, web servers, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, dependency management, and software vulnerability monitoring.
• Knowledge of project management and security standards, including PMI/PMP, ISO 9001, Scrum, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and Identity & Access Management solutions such as Keycloak.

The position requires a willingness to travel within Germany.
