Overview
As a Data Product Engineer focused on Inventory, you shape and execute the product strategy for core inventory data assets to maximize monetization and enable advanced targeting. You work at the intersection of data science, engineering, and business strategy within a hybrid team, delivering ML-driven forecasting, pricing, and data integration. You collaborate with internal inventory management, BI, and delivery/product owners to implement end-to-end data products using Python, SQL, and partner tools. This role offers hands-on ownership in a dynamic, cutting-edge media landscape.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead ML-based forecasting and pricing model development for inventory
- Drive data integration, quality, quantification, and enrichment of inventory data
- Serve as primary liaison with Internal Inventory Management, BI, and Product Owners
- Own end-to-end implementation with hands-on coding in Python and SQL, using Claude, Cursor, and Codex
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a similar quantitative field (preferred)
- Proven experience shipping data products
- Hands-on Python and orchestration tools experience
- Exposure to data science
- Good communication skills; English and German ideally
- Domain knowledge in marketing technology, demand forecasting, or pricing is a plus
