In the Operations Outsourcing, Governance & Audit Management team, you will support and drive processes and enhancements to the governance and oversight framework, improve controls and work to proactively mitigate risks.
Our team seeks professionals who collaborate with multiple stakeholders across all divisions to improve GSBE’s governance framework and play a central role in regulatory and audit related activities.

OUR IMPACT
The Global Banking and Markets Operations division partners with all parts of the firm to provide banking services to clients around the world, while delivering essential risk management and controls. Operations develops and manages the processes and controls that enable business flow for every new product and every trade executed.
The Operations Outsourcing, Governance and Audit Management team oversees GSBE’s outsourced activities and implements relevant controls and processes across the legal entity governance. The team partners with stakeholders locally and globally to ensure appropriate oversight of regulatory requirements, the division’s frameworks and internal governance from a legal entity perspective. Responsibilities include coordinating regulatory & statutory audits, managing audit findings remediation, prioritizing business and information needs, and overseeing key projects impacting GSBE Operations.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
- Work as part of a dynamic team and help define and drive the strategic governance framework of the bank.
- Governance:
- Assist in the management and enhancement of the governance framework, including preparation of KPI/KRI for outsourced activities, RCSA sign‑off, periodic SLA related reviews, and other inquiries.
- Support management in prioritizing business and information needs (ad‑hoc inquiries, new product memo analysis, committee work).
- Contribute to the risk mitigation programs of the bank.
- Audit Management: Coordinate regulatory & statutory audits for Operations horizontal and manage audit finding remediation.
- Change Management: Support and oversee projects impacting GSBE Ops horizontal, define and provide supervisory oversight for comprehensive project documentation, including business/functional requirement documents, process flow diagrams and data analysis.
- Actively build strong relationships across the firm and with external stakeholders.
- Be a self‑motivated, proactive team player with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities within deadlines.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex workflows and meticulous attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively, articulating issues and ideas clearly and providing timely escalation.
- Possess interpersonal skills to build relationships with key stakeholders within and outside of Operations.
- Adaptable and able to work well under pressure in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Active interest in global financial markets.
- Min. 1‑3 years of related experience.
- Comfortable interacting with internal experts and global stakeholders.
- Experience in change management and previous project involvement.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently.
- Experience or interest in data analysis, process automation, big data or technical process efficiencies / BI tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
