Overview
In this role, you will advise the EMEA Wealth Management business on lending, regulatory matters and cross-border transactions. You will work closely with PWM Legal, Capital Markets and Regulatory teams to deliver high-quality legal support in a fast-paced environment. You will shape transactional work, leverage automation, and navigate complex jurisdictional issues to enable growth and regulatory compliance. This position offers a broad, independent workload with meaningful impact across lending products and platform launches.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Structuring and drafting documentation for lending products (securities-based loans, consumer loans, deposits, regulated mortgages, structured asset-backed loans, real estate financings)
- Support Capital Markets and Private Bank with new product/platform launches and transformation projects
- Leverage AI tools to streamline transaction execution and develop playbooks
- Advise on collateral enforceability and security registration across EMEA
- Advising on UK/European regulatory regimes (CRD, MiFID II, MAR, EMIR, consumer credit, mortgage regulation; licensing)
- Coordinate with Goldman Sachs Legal Division globally on regulatory interpretation and implementation
- Collaborate with outside counsel on domestic and cross-border jurisdictional issues
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Minimum of two years’ post-qualification experience
- Experience in lending and/or derivatives transactions or general financial services advisory with willingness to move into transactional work
- Strong English language skills; knowledge of another major European language is useful but not essential
