Are you enthusiastic about biology and technology and keen to make a mark in life-science research? Become part of goodbot, a lab automation startup in Freiburg, Germany, that’s on a mission to transform biomedical research with innovative technology. Our groundbreaking robot, goodbot, is the first agile pipetting assistant specifically created for researchers, aimed at automating the pipetting process which is critical but often manual and error-prone in labs. This automation leads to increased accuracy, efficiency, and prevents strain injuries among researchers.
As a working student with us, you’ll work both independently and collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team. Engage closely with our development team to develop and test new biological applications for goodbot. This opportunity offers you a rich learning experience in lab automation, robotics and life sciences, all while contributing to the enhancement of our robotic solutions. The position is based in Freiburg (not remote) and offers flexible working hours to accommodate your academic commitments.
Aufgaben
- Develop, and test biological applications for goodbot
- Collaborate with the software development team to ensure seamless user experience
- Learn and engage in various aspects of robotics, mechanical engineering, software development, and life sciences
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement and success of our robotic solutions
Qualifikation
- You are currently studying biology, medicine, pharmaceutcal sciences or a related field
- You have experience or a strong interest in technology, specifically in robotics
- You communicate openly and enjoy exchanging ideas and working within a small interdisciplinary team
- You work reliably and independently and enjoy learning new skills
