As in-house counsel at Stillfront Germany, you will be part of a global organization and assist with legal advice such as employment law, intellectual property and contract law. The team consists of three lawyers at Stillfront's headquarters in Stockholm and one lawyer in India. You will be based in Hamburg, where some of our game studios and regional functions such as finance, HR, payment and marketing are located.
The focus will be in Germany, where you will work closely with the European management team (such as EVP Business Area Europe, CFO Business Area Europe and HR), but also have contacts with our studios and consultants around the world.
You will report directly to the SVP Group General Counsel.
YOUR MISSION
Day-to-day legal support and advice on a wide range of legal issues, with a focus on employment law, intellectual property and data protection
Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts and other legal documents
Support business leaders and functions with pragmatic, solution-oriented legal guidance
Monitor legal developments and assess their impact on the business
Ensure compliance with local and international laws and internal policies
Managing legal risks and contributing to internal processes and policies
YOUR BACKSTORY
Several years of professional experience in a German law firm or in an in-house position
Strong generalist legal background with the ability to handle a wide variety of legal matters
Experience with German employment law, intellectual property law and data privacy matters
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Business-minded, pragmatic, and solution-oriented approach to legal advice
Excellent communication skills in English and German
