Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in either system design or in one programming language (Java, C++, Python, etc.).
  • 6 years of experience in technical troubleshooting, and managing internal/external partners or customers.
  • Experience with cloud platform technology (e.g. Google Cloud Platform)

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.
  • 8 years of experience managing projects and working with analytics, software coding, or customer-side web technologies.
  • 8 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience in software engineering, infrastructure, security and privacy domains.
  • Knowledge of one or more of the large public clouds with Security and Privacy focus.
  • Knowledge of software development processes (e.g., CI/CD) and tooling.

About the job

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients and/or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google’s online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.

You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google’s partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.

Responsibilities

  • Lead deployment and adoption of Security and Privacy Mergers and Acquisitions (SPMA) and Embrace, measure and organize the security of Google (EIP-OG) products across various entities, including acquisitions and First Party Clients.
  • Provide technical consultancy, offering best practices, topologies, and deployment solutions in collaboration with Engineering and cross-functional teams.
  • Advocate for customer needs to influence product development and ensure alignment with user requirements.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Technical Program Manager teams to develop solutions, provide consulting, and build strong customer relationships.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to assist customers in overcoming challenges, manage complex deployments, and create tools/processes to streamline customer engagements and product quality.
