The Calendar Backend Serving team is responsible for Calendar’s synchronous backend serving stack, focusing on real-time request and response handling. This includes managing the data model, Spanner storage, low-level business logic, and ensuring reliability, low latency and data consistency. The team develops and maintains critical internal and external APIs, such as CoreAPI, Rosy and CalDav, as well as the integration into the workspace agentic search stack.
