Your Role in Our Journey

• Oversee the preparation of monthly statutory accounts and year-end statutory accounts with accuracy and timeliness. Lead the month-end closing process, actively participating in technical accounting tasks and providing expertise on complex queries.
• Act as a hands-on leader, directly contributing to accounting processes while ensuring figures are the source of truth.
• Manage and mentor your team, fostering professional development and ensuring efficient workflows.
• Ensure compliance with local GAAP standards, manage audits, and prepare financial statements.
• Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders, such as tax consultants and auditors, on accounting matters.

Your impact

• You have +5 years of experience in accounting roles, with a proven track record of success in leadership or senior positions.
• You hold a secondary degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Strong understanding of UGB (Austrian Commercial Code) or the ability to adapt quickly to local GAAP.
• Familiarity with IFRS standards.
• Expertise in monthly closing, audit preparation, and financial statement creation.
• Ability to balance strategic oversight with a hands-on approach to ensure operational excellence.
• Accuracy, reliability, and a proactive mindset are second nature to you.
• A collaborative team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
• Fluent in English is a must (German is a plus).
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP systems like NetSuite or similar.
