Director of Physical Therapy Job Description We are hiring a full-time Director of Physical Therapy for an outpatient clinic in Winchester, VA.
In this role, you will provide one-on-one care, manage a varied outpatient caseload, and use your clinical expertise to guide treatment from evaluation through discharge. Your work will include manual therapy, active rehabilitation, patient education, and ongoing care planning based on each patient’s progress.
You will also help strengthen the clinic’s local presence by building positive relationships with patients and referral sources.

Approximately 12 visits per 8-hour day
Salary:
$100,000 to $110,000 per year
Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one physical therapy care
Serve as the clinical leader for the location
Evaluate and treat patients across a broad range of conditions
Use manual therapy, active rehab, and patient education
Perform manipulation, mobilization, cupping, soft tissue work, tool-assisted massage, and dry needling as appropriate
Treat and manage a full outpatient caseload
Maintain documentation through Athena Health
Build relationships with patients and local referral sources
Help grow the clinic’s patient base
Work independently with remote front desk support
Bachelor’s degree required
Master’s degree preferred
Active Physical Therapist license required
Outpatient physical therapy experience preferred
Strong clinical judgment and hands‑on treatment skills
Comfortable working as a solo provider
Willingness to help market and grow a newer clinic
Strong communication and leadership skills
Interest in continued learning and clinical development
Annual salary range: $100,000 to $110,000
Full‑time W2 position
Profit share opportunity once the clinic becomes profitable
