Deputy Director - 100% / Socio-cooperative Workshops Department

Your Role As a member of the Management Committee and reporting to the General Management, you lead the Socio-cooperative Workshops Department, which includes several production and service activities, notably the Catering sector.

You ensure the quality of socio-professional support, the operational performance of the workshops and the balance between the social mission and the economic requirements of the activities.

As the direct link to General Management, you translate institutional orientations into operational objectives, support teams, manage results and report in a structured and proactive manner.

Your main responsibilities: Contribute to the Foundation’s strategic orientations and ensure their implementation within the department.

Manage the social, operational and economic activities of the workshops.

Guarantee the quality, traceability and compliance of socio-professional support services.

Supervise, support and empower teams.

Ensure budget management, controlling and monitoring of performance indicators.

Guarantee efficient planning of human and material resources.

Anticipate risks, address discrepancies and implement necessary corrective measures.

Prepare analyses and recommendations useful for General Management decisions.

Your

Profile: Professional Skills Tertiary education in hospitality, technical, economic or equivalent field; training as a socio-professional instructor is an asset.

Recognised management training and proven experience in leading managers and multidisciplinary teams.

Mastery of budget management, controlling and management of production or service activities.

Knowledge of LAIH/LAI schemes as well as the Vaud social and economic network.

Excellent writing skills and mastery of management, reporting and project management tools.

Category B driving licence and personal vehicle essential.

Personal and Managerial Skills Strong leadership and ability to decide, frame, delegate and empower.

Institutional loyalty and ability to act in direct support of General Management.

Analytical, anticipatory skills and ability to formulate operational recommendations.

Rigor, organisation, priority management and respect for deadlines.

Managerial courage and entrepreneurial spirit compatible with the Foundation’s social mission.
