The Opportunity

To allow the company to do what it needs to do, it needs strong legal support. A new opportunity now exists in the legal team in Germany for a commercial lawyer to join the European business. The position will be varied and will encompass negotiating complex commercial agreements and providing legal advice in relation to a range of areas including the marketing and advertising of pharmaceutical products as well as regulatory matters (competition, etc).

You will work closely with the business on a wide range of complex legal issues as well as advise on new projects and support the development of new products. In addition, you will play a key role in supporting the German and European business on both day to day and strategic matters.

About You

This is an excellent opportunity for either a commercial lawyer to move into the pharmaceutical sector or a life sciences lawyer who is perhaps looking for a new challenge.

A keen interest in the pharma sector is key, as is the ability to develop relationships across a global business. You will need to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability as well as the ability to work in a varied in-house role. Strong communication skills and a commercial approach are also essential.
