The issues at stake Digitalization and AI are transforming education and social cohesion : children, youth and societies are impacted. Human connections are weakening; mental health is deteriorating. Youth violence is on the rise, as is violence in the world at large.
Our mission in response Graines de Paix delivers innovative solutions that meaningfully combine education and training with violence prevention and peace-cultivating relationships. We transform academic-style teaching and training into interactive, experiential learning experiences that involve and energize all learners. We’ve designed Learning by dialog and Learning by doing methods for learners to develop a full set of life skills and human values. These methods are the most apt to cultivate deeper thinking, discernment and the ability to defuse violent behaviors. Our programs are designed for students, youth, parents, and community leaders. We also work to transform the trajectories of out-of-school youth drawn to extreme violence. As part of our digitalization strategy, we are developing an LMS/LXP platform to provide and monetize large-scale, certifying training programs and violence-prevention apps.
