Define and continuously update the global Electronics & Mechatronics commodity strategyTranslate business objectives into sourcing and supplier development roadmapsIdentify technology trends, market developments, and cost driversDevelop long-term sourcing strategies supporting growth, resilience and innovationEstablish commodity KPIs and improvement targetsOwn relationships with strategic global suppliersDrive supplier segmentation and supplier rationalizationEvaluate and approve new suppliersEnsure compliance with quality, financial and sustainability requirementsCommercial & Cost ManagementDevelop and execute cost reduction initiativesDrive value engineering and should-cost programsNegotiate LTAs, pricing models and commercial frameworksMonitor commodity indices, inflation impacts and electronic component market trendsDeliver annual savings and productivity targetsSupply Chain Risk ManagementIdentify supply chain vulnerabilitiesDevelop dual-sourcing and regionalization strategiesMonitor geopolitical, trade and semiconductor market risksLead crisis management activities related to disruptions and shortagesEnsure business continuity plans are in place for critical componentsWhat are your qualifications?EducationBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Procurement or related fieldMaster's degree or MBA preferredExperience10+ years of strategic procurement experienceMinimum 5 years in global category/commodity leadershipStrong experience in electronics and mechatronics sourcing within automotive or industrial sectorsProven track record managing global suppliers and complex negotiationsExperience leading international procurement teamsTechnical KnowledgeElectronics manufacturing processesWire harnesses, connectors and electromechanical systemsCost modelling and should-cost analysisAutomotive industry requirements (IATF, APQP, PPAP preferred)ERP systems (SAP preferred)And most importantly, what can you expect from us?The well-being of our employees is our top priority.
